Those who offer their time, thoughts and generosity will rise above the rest in this fast paced world. Especially when you’re looking for a graduate job.
2. Gratitude.
When you really show that you are thankful for everything that you have and any kind of generosity that anyone shows you, you start to appreciate life even more.
3. Honesty.
Be honest about you are, where you’re going and where you’ve come from. Don’t be fake. Especially when you are building your online reputation in order to get a graduate job. You will be caught out quickly and easily. Be aware of your morals and live by them every day.
4. Self Awareness.
There are so many graduates that have zero self awareness. You know the kind? The one that keeps on talking for hours on end, with no attempt to make it a two way conversation. To be self aware, you need to be sensitive to other peoples thoughts and feelings. You also need to be very conscious about what those around you are thinking about you.
5. Integrity.
Tiger Woods (had multiple affairs), England captain John Terry (sleeping with his team mates girlfriend) – neither of these people have any integrity. Integrity ties in with being self aware and having morals. Treat others how you want to be treated yourself, live a reputable and honest life.
6. Humility.
Top rugby players are always humble and respectful after winning or losing a big match. It’s an example we should follow. Be down to earth, no matter how far up life’s tree you get.
7. Positivity.
The individual that can come back after set backs and remain positive, with a strong plan – is the person that will achieve the most. Stay positive at all times and keep negativity out of your life. This means denying yourself reading and watching certain TV programs and make sure you hang around positive people!
