Let’s be honest, we all know at least one person who owns an iPhone, in fact that’s an understatement, there are very few people that own phones which aren’t an iPhone! Yes the craze is pretty extreme, more and more people are jumping on this bandwagon every day. The brilliant thing about an iPhone, which I feel, really sets it apart from its competitors is the varied age group that it appeals to and that it’s a very simple phone to use, which adds to the popularity. Just one tap on an app gets you exactly where you need to be and it does it looking stylish!
Keep on top of your lectures
As a student it can be hard keeping track of things and remembering what you need to do. Getting an iPhone allows you to organize all of this in a productive, neat and enjoyable manner. You can simply click on the calendar App and add everything that you need to be reminded of – your mother’s birthday or your first exam of spring – but there is also another cool little quirky App for reminding you of things – the notes App. I find it useful to write just about anything: an album someone recommends, an important number or address, even as a mini diary it’s a great way to quickly and easily add something immediately.
Great for Social Networking
The iPhone, of course, provides excellent social networking site Apps, so you can easily check your Facebook or Tweet your latest thought. Another advantage is the mail App which allows you to check emails, be it from your tutor or latest exam timetable, so you don’t need to worry about rushing to do it on your laptop as soon as you set foot in the house!
Texting is super easy and now features iMessage which is a fantastic new way to text your fellow buddies with iPhones. It’s free because it runs via an internet connection so you don’t have to waste your text usage! You can also send free picture messages.
Unbeatable design
The amazing, unique design of the iPhone is unbeatable. Have you noticed all the new mobiles coming out now are literally trying to design themselves around it? They’re aware how appealing it is to the public so to sell they have to match up to the tough competitor that is the iPhone!
The prices may seem unappealing, but if you shop around you can actually get some amazing iPhone deals. Vodafone, o2, 3 mobile and T-Moblie all offer some fantastic deals, and it’s always worth going on comparison websites.
Some of these prices include paying an additional cost at the time for the handset but it’s cheaper then forking out £499 up front for one!
Whatever way you decide to go about purchasing an iPhone, if you’re a student then I’d say get one as soon as you can. There is a very good reason why people adore them and the trend looks like it will continue to grow.
